Industry Input

In developing the campus design and curriuclum, the District received input from educators, community members and business partners.

An Advisory Council will regularly review curriculum to ensure programs adequately prepare students for the workplace. The Council will use and adapt to workforce data, industry input along with labor market needs and trends to keep education and programs at the CTEHS rigorous and current.

Technology, software/hardware and equipment at the campus will closely resemble that found in industry. All the labs will support career-training programs.

The design ensures that each student’s experience is enriching and supporting his or her career pathway. One example of powerful work-based learning are internships. Industry superivisors will oversee students’ development and workforce performance. The experience will serve as a stepping stone for student career development.
