Program Description

The program prepares students for entry-level careers in this high-demand industry. Hospitality and tourism encompasses the management, marketing and operations of restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events and travel-related services. Hospitality and tourism careers require an emphasis in hands-on experience. CTE program students can earn industry certifications. The program also prepares students to pursue postsecondary education.

Students in the program will apply their knowledge and skills in industry work experiences. This may include laboratory-based, paid or unpaid work experiences for students.
